Principals: William and Richard Tagland

We strive to make life better for our clients, designing spaces that liberate and uplift the soul. We strive not to satisfy clients, but to thrill them. Studio Tagland is about the freedom to explore, to discover, to reach higher, to soar.


Principals:
William and Richard Tagland are considered "wunderkinder" in the field of architecture. Despite their young age, their firm, Studio Tagland Architecture, is gaining national attention for its unique designs. Their youth does not reflect their vast experience. William and Richard grew up around the business, graduated with honors and Bachelor of Architecture degrees from Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago and refined their talents at their uncle's architectural firm (Oram H. Tonge, AIA) before establishing Studio Tagland Architecture in 1992. Between them, the principals have completed more than 200 projects - residential, commercial and public structures.
