PC TO DESIGN BULL'S ISLAND RECREATION AREA'S
NEW PARK OFFICE HARVEY CEDARS,

Studio Tagland Architecture, PC, a professional architectural
firm, has been awarded the Architectural/Engineering Services contract
for Bull's Island Recreation Area's new park office. Studio Tagland
Architecture, PC, with offices in Harvey Cedars, New Jersey, will be
responsible for designing the rustic-themed, 2500 square-foot site which
will be constructed in a Post and Beam method; the "first of its
kind (in New Jersey)." The new structure will replace the existing
building which is primarily used as the first contact point for visitors
and registering campers to Bull's Island Recreation Area. The new facility
will include a spacious public area for camping registration along with
interpretive information about the region. Offices for the Park superintendent,
rangers, maintenance supervisor and clerical staff will also be housed
there.
This State contract allows Studio Tagland Architecture, PC to expand
into the government sector while maintaining their innovative residential
and commercial designs. Led by licensed architect, William C. Tagland,
AIA, the organization has provided architectural services for municipal
facilities in Long Beach Township, New Jersey, the Boroughs of Harvey
Cedars, New Jersey, and Ship Bottom, New Jersey. They have recently
been named Architectural Consultant, for the third year, by the Borough
of Surf City, New Jersey. Some of their residential marvels include
the "leaning" house in Loveladies, New Jersey and the "silo"
home in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania. Commercial projects include Panzone's
Italian Eatery and Pizzeria, Beach Haven, New Jersey and Cutting Crew
Salons with locations in New Jersey, New York and Connecticut.
